What Should You Be Wearing This Autumn

I love the summer, not just for the obvious choices but for the fashionable reasons too. from chino's to cut offs to shorts, all in yellows, pinks, light blues and every other colour under the sun; the summer brings with it a plethora of fashion choices but as with everything, sooner or later it has to end!

A dismal thought I know but with four seasons in the year; summer can never really last for as long as we wish it would but does that really call or the end of great style? Admittedly we all have to fight the urge to go into hibernation when the cold weather sets in but it is never impossible to look and feel as stylish, no matter what.
As with every season; autumn 2014 is set to bring forth a great number of new trends and styles that even the fussiest man won't be able to resist.

  • Slim Fit Suits- I love a good suit, who doesn't? And no matter how hard we may try to avoid it , every man will always need at least one suit. Whether it's for work, a wedding or even at appearance at court (although hopefully not the latter!) a suit will always be in fashion. This season it's all about the slim fit suits. Grey, black or blue the slim trousers and tailored jackets are set to dominate. Think 60's slacks and The Beatles style in order to get it right.
  • Fine Knits- Whenever the cold weather comes around, knitwear always becomes an essential. Stylish and protective, both designer and high street brands have a brilliant selection on offer for autumn 2014. This season, quality merino wool is set to make a dominant mark. Affordable, soft and stylish they're a great knitwear choice whether to be worn alone or whilst layering.
  • Mankets- Yep, that's actually a thing! Scarf's have always been a staple of a man's wardrobe but designers like Burberry have managed to take it one further by crossing the scarf with a blanket presenting us with a "Manket". Ok, so perhaps the name is not the best
It is never fun having to wave goodbye to warm weather for another year but just because the sunshine leaves, doesn't mean your style needs to go too! With every season comes different must haves, different style staples and of course the latest trends to watch. By keeping your eye on the ball, sticking to what you know and embracing the new; there is no doubt that this autumn could be your most stylish one to date!
